Student Eligibility for the State Festival
All students, in good standing, who were adjudicated at their District I.E. Festival or their One Act Festival are eligible to attend the Florida State Thespian Festival, at the discretion of their Troupe Director.
Students must adhere to the Florida State Thespian Student Conduct Guidelines and Conduct Contract.
Any violation of the conduct guidelines or any behavior that could be deemed as a law or safety violation can result in the removal of the violating student and include the removal of the student’s entire troupe from the current and/or future festivals.
Individual Events that received a Superior rating at their District Festival are eligible to be adjudicated at the State Festival at the discretion of their Troupe Director and within the limitation of six (6) individual events per troupe.
One Acts perform at the State One Act Festival at the discretion of the District Chair for each district, after qualifying with a Superior rating at their District One Act Festival, and being selected by the judges at that festival.
Make-up Critics Choice winners for each district will take part in a workshop for their respective events at the State Festival.
All decisions of Florida State Thespian District Chairs and the State Director of Florida Thespians are final.
