Junior Thespian Monologue

RULES

1. Students will perform ONE (1) selection.
2. Materials must be drawn from published plays written for the theatre and found here on the approved Thespy site.
3. The monologue should be composed of only one character’s lines.
   1. The combining of multiple characters’ lines to create a monologue is not allowed. 
4. The selection may not exceed (3) three minutes.
5. All rules in the Junior Thespian General Rules apply.

MATERIALS

1. One (1) chair may be safely used during the performance of a Monologue. No other scenic elements or furniture are allowed.
