It’s time for a high-energy, skills-based technical theatre showdown, so form your teams and bring your A-game!
Using Disney Live Entertainment’s BACKstage Challenge, this six event challenge gives each four-person team an opportunity to showcase a range of backstage skills. Every event is a team event involving all four members. Event rules can be found here.
Twenty-four teams will be selected to compete in four preliminary rounds Saturday morning. The three highest scores from each of these rounds will compete in a semi-final round, with the best scores from this round facing off in the finals. Who will be crowned the champion of this inaugural event?
Team members do not need to be from the same troupe, only the same district, so here’s your chance to show the rest of the state which district truly has the best Theatre Techs out there. Don’t delay, fill out your Team Registration today.
